CASE STUDIES

PROTOLABS

Protolabs Case study.

Protolabs is the world’s fastest manufacturer of custom prototypes and on-demand production parts with manufacturing facilities in eight countries. We were invited to take a look around their headquarters which is based in Telford Shropshire. Protolabs were wanting a new fresh look. Andrew Green head of facilities in control of this project was keen to use a vinyl as the look and benefits of using vinyl would make the appearance of the building look like new unlike a painted finish, not to mention no down time for paint to dry or disruption to the day to day running of the business.

We could see that this would be a challenge as the existing paint and aliminium frames were not in the best condition as this building would have been built in the late 60’s and has not had much work completed on it since build. Once we had completed a thorough preparation and clean down we were able to start installation. What a transformation this is now, We installed Avery Dennison Facade in an anthracite lustre finish, it looks absolutely stunning and fair to say this building certainly looks more modern and updated now with a new lease of life.

Andrew Green who is the facilities Manager at Protolabs and in charge of arranging this project was amazed with the finish and look.

Residential House

Here we were asked if we could vinyl wrap the window frames & doors on this anex which had been built next to the office. The office had Grey doors & looked a little odd having white upvc next to them. As you can see this was not a problem & looked great once we had installed Avery Dennison Facade.

HORTONPARK

Hortonpark is an Industrial Estate situated on Hortonwood Telford.

We were asked to transform and update the look of this Industrial estate into a modern-looking and desirable block of units. The building was looking tired and worn and certainly  overdue for a new look.

Tenets occupying these premises were keen to have a modern new look as Anthrecite Grey is extremely popular and many new premises built in surrounding areas are choosing this finish.

The owner was also keen to protect the environment along with the features and benefits of Avery Dennison Facade film protecting the substrate once installed. The owner was also impressed to learn that the long-life high durability film protects against abrasion and UV radiation.

The longevity of having Avery Dennison facade Vinyl installed on these units is not only friendly to the environment with no toxins in the air and no disruption to the running of day-to-day business the life expectancy of up to 10 years is also a great way of savings over time.
